We try to keep all information accurate and up to date. However, product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and availability may occasionally contain errors or may change without prior notice.

Some products may be:

Where a product is made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, this will be stated before the order is accepted.
4. Orders
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
- all information you provide is true, accurate and complete;
- you are at least 18 years old.
An order placed through the website, by email or by any other communication method is an offer to purchase the selected goods. The order is accepted only when we confirm it in writing or issue an invoice / payment confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:
- the product is unavailable;
- there is an error in the price or description;
- payment is not received;
- the order appears fraudulent or unlawful;
- the product cannot reasonably be supplied.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid.
5. Prices, VAT and Import Duties
Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise.
Prices may include or exclude VAT depending on the seller’s VAT status. The applicable VAT information will be shown on the invoice or order confirmation.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the buyer may be responsible for import duties, customs fees, local taxes or other charges required by the destination country. These charges are not controlled by us and are the responsibility of the buyer.
We may change prices at any time before an order is accepted. If a price changes after you place an order but before we accept it, we will contact you and you may either accept the revised price or cancel the order.
6. Payment
Payment may be made by the payment methods offered at the time of purchase, such as bank transfer, PayPal, card payment provider or another agreed method.
We do not store your full payment card details. Card and online payments are processed by third-party payment service providers.
An order may not be processed or shipped until full payment has been received.
7. Made-to-Order and Custom Products
Some The Note products are handcrafted, made in small quantities or made to order.
If a product is made according to your individual specifications, such as custom configuration, finish, connectors, voltage, transformer options, engraving or other personal requirements, it may not be eligible for cancellation or return, except where required by applicable consumer law.
Before accepting such an order, we will normally confirm the main specifications with you in writing.
Estimated production times are indicative only. Delays may occur due to availability of parts, specialist materials, subcontracted work or testing requirements.
8. Shipping and Delivery
We ship products to the countries available at the time of order.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs, courier delays, production time and other circumstances beyond our control.
Unless agreed otherwise, products are shipped to the address provided by you. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is correct and complete.
If the package appears damaged upon delivery, please photograph the packaging and product immediately and contact us as soon as possible.
For international shipments, customs clearance and any related charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
9. Digital Products and eBook Delivery
In addition to printed products, we may offer digital products, including electronic versions of books, eBooks or other downloadable digital content.
Digital products are supplied electronically only. No physical copy will be shipped unless a printed edition is purchased separately.
After payment has been confirmed, download instructions or a download link may be sent to the email address provided during the order process. You are responsible for providing a correct email address and for checking spam, promotions or other email folders if the message is not received.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, a digital edition may be supplied as a PDF file, EPUB file or another suitable digital reading format.
Digital products are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright, intellectual property rights or ownership of the content to you.
You may keep a personal copy of the purchased digital product for private reading and personal backup purposes only.
You may not:
- copy, resell, redistribute or share the digital product with others;
- upload, publish or make the digital product publicly available;
- remove copyright notices, order information or other ownership notices;
- use the digital product for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Digital products are not subject to physical delivery charges. If a digital product is purchased together with a printed product, delivery charges may apply only to the printed product.
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days. However, this right may not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium once the supply of the digital content has begun, provided that you have given prior express consent for the supply to begin before the end of the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that this will result in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
By purchasing a digital product and requesting or accepting immediate access to the digital content after payment, you agree that the digital content may be supplied immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be lost once the download link, file or access to the digital content has been provided or the download has started.
For this reason, digital products cannot usually be cancelled, returned or refunded after access to the digital content has been provided or the download has started, except where required by applicable law or where the digital product is defective, inaccessible or not supplied as described.
If a digital product is defective, the download link does not work, or the file cannot be accessed, please contact us at info@the-note.eu. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a working download link, replacement file or another suitable solution.
10. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
If you are a consumer in the European Union and purchase a standard product online, you may have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day you receive the goods.
To exercise this right, you must inform us by email with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw.
Returned goods must be:
- unused;
- complete;
- in the same condition as received;
- returned with all accessories, documents and original packaging where possible.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are faulty or we delivered the wrong item.
We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled more than necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless agreed otherwise.
11. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply to:
- goods made to your individual specifications;
- clearly personalised goods;
- goods which are not suitable for return due to their nature;
- goods which have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
- digital content where performance has begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the goods are faulty or not as described.
12. Warranty and Faulty Goods
We stand behind the quality of our products.
If a product is faulty, damaged in transit or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs or video.
Where required by applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- misuse;
- incorrect installation;
- unauthorised modification or repair;
- incorrect mains voltage;
- unsuitable partnering equipment;
- mechanical shock or accidental damage;
- normal wear and tear;
- careless handling of delicate parts such as styli, cantilevers, valves / tubes or connectors.
Vacuum tubes, styli, cantilevers and other delicate or consumable parts may have limited service life and must be handled with care.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
13. Product Use and Compatibility
High-end audio products may require correct setup, matching and careful handling.
You are responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for your system before ordering. If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us before purchase.
Tube equipment and mains-powered devices may contain dangerous voltages. Do not open, modify or repair such equipment unless you are qualified to do so. Servicing should be carried out only by a competent technician.

17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption or loss caused by improper use of products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law, including liability for intentional misconduct, fraud or mandatory consumer rights.
