THE NOTE ROJUS

FIELD COIL PHONO CARTRIDGE

Cu · Ag · Au

COMING SOON

The Note ROJUS is a hand-built field-coil phono cartridge developed from the ground up around an externally energized magnetic system.

Instead of conventional permanent magnets, ROJUS uses dedicated excitation coils to generate the magnetic field, allowing the magnetic circuit and moving generator to be developed as one complete system.

Created for analogue listeners seeking immediacy, dynamics, tonal richness and a direct connection to music.

THREE GENERATOR VERSIONS

ROJUS will be available in three versions, distinguished by the conductor used for the moving generator winding.

ROJUS Cu

Copper Generator

Hand-wound copper generator.

ROJUS Ag

Silver Generator

Hand-wound silver generator.

ROJUS Au

Gold Generator

Hand-wound gold generator and the most exclusive version of the ROJUS concept.

All three versions share the same fundamental field-coil architecture.

WHY FIELD COIL?

Most modern moving-coil cartridges rely on permanent magnets.

ROJUS takes a different approach.

Its magnetic field is created by externally powered excitation coils, allowing the field-coil magnetic system, magnetic circuit and moving generator to be optimized together.

The concept originates from an earlier era of audio engineering, but ROJUS applies it to a newly developed modern phono cartridge.

THE NAME

ROJUS means “paradise” in Lithuanian.

It is also the name of my son, who is part of The Note journey and works alongside me on the project.

For that reason, ROJUS became a natural name for one of the most personal products developed at The Note.

COMING SOON

The Note ROJUS is currently in final development and will be produced in limited numbers.

Every cartridge will be individually assembled, calibrated and tested.
